Confirmation

Confirmation is the time when people who have been baptised make the baptismal promises for themselves.  Candidates make promises in a special service and receive the laying on of hands from the Bishop.  People who come forward for Confirmation usually see it as a major step in the development of their faith.  If you feel that you would like to be confirmed, contact Revd Rich Phillips, the Vicar, on 01482 704517.

Your confirmation would usually follow a time of preparation where you explore the Christian faith and what it means to you. The Confirmation course is a good way to do this, along with others who are thinking about confirmation and is a safe place to ask any questions you have about God, Jesus and the journey of faith.  We have a party afterwards!

The Church of England website has plenty of information on Confirmation
