Revd Barry Kissell is on the leadership team at St Mary’s Bryanston Square, London and is bringing with him team members from his church.  Together with Bishop David Pytches he is well known as a founder-member of New Wine. He is much loved for his biblical teaching, courage in ministry and sense of humour. He is married with seven children.

  Join us next Tuesday (7th) for a session of outdoor bowling on the greens in East Park.   

2 years ago we squelched after all the rain, last year the park keeper forgot about us, so this year who knows what might happen – sun burn?!!

 For an entertaining night, come along.  We will meet at St. Aidan’s at 7pm, to allow a prompt start.

We are not sure about the cost, so I estimate it to be about £3.50 each.

EastParkBaptist100th Anniversary

Our friends, East Park Baptist Church,  had a day of Celebration on Sunday 28 June to mark 100 years of witness and service to East Hull. 

The first Sunday Service took place on 14th February, 1909.  There was an open invitation to friends and all former members to join them for the afternoon service at 4.00pm followed by tea at 'approx' 5.00pm.  Guest speaker was Rev Stan Woods.  A good afternoon enjoyed by all who attended.

 

 


PARISH WEEKEND

GreenGablesA Parish Weekend has been arranged at Green Gables Hotel, Valley Road, Scarborough for Friday 5th - Sunday 7th March 2010.  A weekend of relaxation, teaching, fun and good company.  Full Board  £82.50 per person - Children half price £41.25. Those aged 13-18 also half price, being subsidised by St Aidan's.  No charge for 4 years and under. £10 non-refundable deposit to be given to Lynda Hallaway.
